Chabura Leaders

  • Mevaseret
  • Orayta
  • Reishit
  • Shaalvim
  • Yishrei Lev

Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with talmidim coming to YU from the Israel Yeshiva that they had attended
  • Orient talmidim as they begin their YU experiences
  • Connect talmidim to mashgichim, older chavrutot and kollel families
  • Meet with talmidim during their first semester to monitor their progress and facilitate connections to campus resources
  • Act as liaison  between their Yeshiva in Israel and YU
  • Run events that bring together chevra from their Israel Yeshiva

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an alumnus of an Israeli yeshiva and a student/alumnus of YC or SSSB
  • Be responsible, caring and enthusiastic
  • Be familiar with YU departments, shiurim, programs and resources
  • Possess good organizational skills
  • Have interests in student leadership and wants to attend training to enhance leadership skills.
